The Karishtaro

In the prehistoric world of the planet Korimbda, a creature roamed the airs, casting its shadow upon the waters and jutting rocket cliffs. The creature did not fly, but moved by the pressure of the rocket cliffs. Its sleek body and thin, gliding hairs enable the Karishtaro to travel long distances. The only ones that survive and live long lives are the ones that make it to another rocket cliff, feeding from smaller creatures within the dark confinements. The ones that miss crash on land or in water, either dying on impact or eaten by larger creatures...or thousands of smaller ones.
