A bit of Story:

A very old and wrinkly man walks into a comic book shop. The people surrounding him look at him oddly, wondering what he would be doing in their store. He walks up to a certain comic, as if sensing the correct direction. There's one left, and there is a sullenness in his eyes; as if he was reconnecting with a long gone father. He reaches up in attempt to take hold of the comic, but a young boy walks up and grabs it first. The kid stands just three feet away, looking at the old man from his peripheral vision. He shows signs of intimidation, yet avoids yielding to the old man's desire of the object he is holding.
The late afternoon sun shines into the shop, making the wrinkles on the man's face black, surrounded by oranges and yellows. He watches the boy walk to the counter with his precious comic book, his eye brows forming the silhouette of a distant, flying hawk. His eyes roll back, showing dark green holes emitting yellow fumes. The fumes drift toward the boy up to his nose, and he breaths it in. It smells like a paper factory mounted on a garbage dump. It turns to liquid and drips out of the boy's nose onto the comic book, and he gets sucked in through a paper wrinkle on the cover.
The boy is now stranded in a vast and sky-scraping mountainous landscape. He cannot see anything except for a muted green color without details or form. The smell he experiences moments before is intensified and has a physical weight on his skin. He can breath only barely, but enough to survive for a while. He hears a footstep in the distance. Four seconds later feels that footstep's vibration ending with a loud millisecond clap of lightning. Forms start to appear very dimly and he can see the outlines of his surroundings. He slowly looks up along a form to a blue piece of metal, a beam of light shining from it. The light meets his face.

Very cool idea! Feels like an almost surreal piece with the story, was that deliberate?

it is somewhat surreal, I believe it's just mainly my style that makes the piece more surreal though.
